How Ryken Began
Global commodity trade still happens mostly via email, WhatsApp, and trust built over years or not. We've seen importers lose six figures to non-delivery, exporters chase payments for months, and both sides waste time on unqualified leads.
In 2024, The Founder Rodney Ferreira, a seasoned project manager with hands-on experience in supply chains and international trade decided to fix this. Drawing from years of managing complex projects and witnessing the same pain points repeatedly, Ryken Solutions was born.
Incorporated in the UK as RYKEN SOLUTIONS LTD (Company No. 15868442), we launched to create an infrastructure layer: verified counterparties, independent escrow, milestone payments, and structured workflows. Not another general marketplace exclusively for bulk/agri/metals/Energy/chemicals/industrial commodities. We don't aim to disrupt your relationships. We protect them so you can focus on what matters: sourcing, producing, and delivering.

Founder of Ryken Solutions. With a background in senior project management and global supply chains, Rodney identified the trust gaps in commodity trade and built Ryken to bridge them. Passionate about structured delivery, secure payments, and helping businesses scale internationally without unnecessary risk. Educated at Arden University; based in the Greater Leeds Area.
We're a lean founding team of 5-10 with deep roots in trade, tech, and operations. More talent joining as we grow.
